Hazel Carter-Showell

Hazel Carter-Showell

Hazel is a founding Director of CarterCorson with 15 years experience of executive recruitment and management consultancy.  She is a business graduate, Fellow of the CIPD with postgraduate qualifications in management training and is an expert in human behaviour at work, with a track record of corporate transformation in major blue chip organisations. 

From a background in business turnaround and management development, Hazel brings a strong business focus to the application of a multi-model psychological approach.  She is an experienced executive coach and is the lead designer of CarterCorson group programmes, having led senior management and board development programmes for organisations such as Unilever, Barclays Bank, HSBC, LloydsTSB, PwC, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, BNFL, Norwich Union and Capita amongst many.  Hazel has also worked at regional and national level with the NHS for over 10 years.  Hazel is qualified at Level A and B in Psychometric Testing and is a member of the ICF (International Coach Federation).  As a coach, Hazel specialises in complex or challenging coachees and has achieved notable successes.  Hazel also designed the new NHS London 2012 Chief Executive Capability Model.

John Corson

John Corson

John is a founding Director of CarterCorson.  He is a qualified accountant with 30 years of experience working as an executive in a number of industry sectors.  Since 1995, John has focused on the impact of human behaviour at work and acted as corporate advisor to a number of clients to resolve strategic and operational problems.  John is a member of the ICF (International Coach Federation).

With his senior level background, John applies his broad organisation experience and knowledge of psychology to improve management and business performance.  He is an experienced executive coach and has delivered successful executive coaching programmes for Unilever, AstraZeneca, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, E C Harris, ThyssenKrupp and Capita amongst many.  John has also worked at regional and national level with the NHS for over 10 years.

Jennifer Baggaley

Jennifer Baggaley

Jennifer is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist within CarterCorson and has worked in consultancy for 9 years.  She is a member of the British Psychological Society and holds both Level A and B Certificates in Psychometric Testing.  Jennifer's professional background is in executive assessment and this remains a specialism.  Jennifer is an experienced executive trainer and has led and co-delivered a significant number of group development programmes for senior managers and partners of a wide range of organisations including blue chip plcs and SMEs with a particular focus on leadership and interpersonal skills.  Jennifer is a member of the ICF (International Coach Federation).  Jennifer also works extensively within the NHS both regionally and nationally in the fields of assessment and development. 

Penny Baker

Penny Baker

Penny is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist within CarterCorson and has worked in consultancy for several years, prior to which she worked in the public sector.  She is a member of the British Psychological Society and holds Level A and B Certificates in Psychometric Testing.  Penny’s professional background is in selection and assessment and she is experienced in the design of assessment centres and the exercises and logistics that support them.  She is qualified in the use of a wide range of personality assessment tools and has applied this extensively in leadership assessment programmes.  These have included senior managers, Senior Civil Servants and Chief Executives in a range of public and private sector organisations including blue chip plcs, SMEs, central and local government, charities and higher education institutions.  Penny co-delivers assessment and coaching programmes for CarterCorson with a range of commercial clients.  Penny is a member of the ICF (International Coach Federation).

Melissa Davis

Melissa Davis

Melissa is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist within CarterCorson and is a member of the British Psychological Society. She holds both Level A and B Certificates in Psychometric Testing, and is qualified to interpret a number of personality measures. She is an experienced trainer and has delivered Level A and B accreditation programmes within the public and private sector, along with other programmes which include stress management and resilience training. Prior to joining CarterCorson Melissa gained experience within an executive search and selection organisation, where she specialised in assessment and development, including job analysis, competency frameworks, exercise design, personality profiling and the validation of assessment techniques.

Analise Robins

Analise Robins

Analise is an Occupational Psychologist within CarterCorson and a member of the British Psychological Society. She has a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology and holds both Level A and B Certificates in Psychometric Testing, qualified to interpret a number of personality measures and is currently working towards Chartered Occupational Psychologist status. Analise is experienced in both assessment and development and has responsibility for research and development and tendering in both the public and private sector.
